Incorporation of Content Standards and Delivery of Educational Program
The curriculum taught at Soledad Enrichment Action Charter High School (S.E.A.) is based on the California Content Frameworks and Standards for Public Schools and the Los Angeles County Office of Education’s (LACOE) Standards-based Curriculum in the following areas:

English-Language Arts Mathematics History-Social Science Sciences

Physical Education Computer Technology Special Education After-school Enrichment

State standards, staff development and professional collaboration are aligned with standards-based instructional materials in order to better support student learning.  This process is supported by S.E.A. provided professional development, training, grade-level team meetings, cross-disciplinary, and site level meetings.

Regular monitoring and evaluation of the core instructional program and student progress takes place utilizing: standardized assessment tools, the analysis of student work to compare progress toward designated bench mark indicators, and the analysis of student data for the purpose of evaluating teacher effectiveness and student performance.
