“PARENTS HELPING PARENTS” PROGRAM

Our Mission Statement

The “Parents Helping Parents” is a parenting program that serves families and
their children by providing quality education through the following:

• Each individual adult acknowledges their own story and works on their own
  emotional baggage.
• The program enhances and encourages forgiveness and helps to develop a
  deep love within the couple’s relationship.
• The parents learn and are encouraged to use non-violent and loving parenting
  skills with their children.
• Develops and certifies Parenting Instructors in the use of the “Parents Helping
  Parents” curriculum

The Parents will learn how to:

• Discipline in a proactive way.
• Influence the behaviors of their children.
• Discipline their children in chaotic and confusing situation.
• Acquire the information about resources in their community.
• Form support groups with other parents.
