We believe in empowering our youth with knowledge, planning for their future guiding them in a positive direction to succeed in life by providing Job Readiness Skills Training Classes and referring them to Job Training Programs.

The CSBG Job Readiness Skills Program is a course that consists of six months of group and individual sessions, referrals for job training programs and other support services and one yr. of follow-up calls.  This program is exclusively for youth that reside in the first, second and third district. At this time Vanessa Gomez and Ana Salazar are providing services at South Gate and Rowan Site for first and second district and Joey Chavez at Pacoima for third district.  Other schools sites that qualify for the first district are: East Los Angeles, Montebello, Soto, and Pomona. Second district are: South Gate, Manchester, Compton and Firestone and third district are: North Hills and San Fernando High School.  The purpose of this program is to work with at risk youth to keep them off the streets, for them to create a career goal and for us to help them accomplish there goals and prepare them for the work industry.  - We also help the S.E.A. Charter Schools by having activities for the youth in the after school program.
